Welcome to Rachel Walkden Photography, offering creative family portraits from our studio in South West London.  Located in Raynes Park (just outside of Wimbledon), our clients come to us from all over the UK for our unique fine art portraiture.  We specialise in beautifully lit and composed framed art that you will be proud to display on your wall.

As well as weddings and portraits, Rachel specialises in film and television photography, and her work has appeared in most of the national press

Rachel has photographed all kinds of portraits, and has the experience and skills to ensure you have the kind of memories that you will treasure for years to come.   Whether it's to welcome a newborn into your family or a portrait that brings together several generations, contact us to book your session.

Our Philosophy

It's all to do with that fleeting second.... one moment for life – capturing a time that will eventually fade into the past and be forgotten.  Except for the picture that remains, the photograph that you come across many years from now, the one that transports you to the moment when she only had one bottom tooth, those few weeks when you had to banish the monsters from under his bed, when they’d just got a new sister.

It’s to do with providing a legacy for your children.  Giving them one of the most precious things – photographs not just of themselves, but of them WITH their parents.  Looking back over your own family photographs and realising that you have very few with both your parents, because someone else was always holding or avoiding the camera… and deciding to change that for your own children.
