it’s about the celebration of a beginning.  The moment that two families join and one couple make the promises that not only commit them to a shared future, but also link them to the past, to the many coincidences that brought them to this time, this place, together.  Every story ends with a happily ever after, but it’s only the end of the events that brought you here.

It’s more than one day.  It’s the nervous excitement of the morning and the catch that’s in your throat when you’re told he has arrived for the ceremony.  It’s the flurry of getting ready, of finally putting on the things you have carefully chosen for today.  It’s the bite of the lip as you’re asked to take your place for your bride’s arrival.  It’s the moment you turn, and she sees no-one else but you.  It’s the way you look at each other as you say your vows, and the realisation that you mean every word.  It’s the love of so many people, here just to share this moment with you and to become a part of your history.  It’s taking a moment together and sharing the joy of this perfect day, and knowing that this isn’t the end, this is the moment where you will look back and say “this – this was where it began”.
